Google Rolls Out Update For Google Maps, Gmail And Google Play Books On Android

Google has improved three of their services for Android phones today. These are Google Maps, Gmail and Google Play Books. These three proved to be important to any Android phone user. Google Maps is there so that you can easily navigate the area no matter where you are.  Gmail is there so you can view and answer your e-mails in your Android phone. And last but not the least; Google Play Books is there so you can read your favorite books from your device.

But every useful application needs an improvement. This is why Google took the time to look at the issues in these three applications and updated their services accordingly.

For Gmail, they have brought all the improvements on the application to Honeycomb tablets. Some tablets seem to be lagging behind because some apps are just not made for them. Google showed that they are more sensitive than other companies by releasing an Ice Cream Sandwich Gmail version to Honeycomb tablets. Aside from this, they have also resolved all reported issues in the previous week. They have done that along with inviting some 3rd party developers to improve their app for older Android versions.

As for Google Play Books, there is a rather small update that is applicable to Android 2.2 and 2.3 Gingerbread devices. They have animated their page and made a more user-friendly interface.

And last but not the least; there is Google Maps. They now have included a street view for South Korea and Russia along with an easy-to-navigate action bar.

This shows that Google is still doing its job in making all of their applications compatible for everyone. And that means no favoritism when it comes to the OS of the device. If you want to download the updates on the applications included above, you can go to Google Play Store.
