If you liked the Motorola DROID RAZR Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich leak, then you will be surprised that Motorola has more tricks up its sleeves. Aside from experiencing the features of ICS before it is released, you can also be one of the first people to enjoy Webtop Beta 3.0. All you need to do is to plug your Motorola Android phone into your Lapdock. Try it and see the magic.
It all started when some Motorola addicts tried connecting their DROID RAZR to their Motorola Lapdock 100. They were surprised that the Linux OS disappeared and it was replaced by a full Ice Cream Sandwich interface. This seems to be a leaked version of Webtop namely the Webtop Beta 3.0 and boy are they excited.
If you know Webtop, then you should know that it is a platform that can integrate your phone and computer. It is a unique platform for Motorola users that can help them make calls and answer texts as they browse the web, watch videos or listen to music. The Webtop Beta 3.0 is not yet released to the public but you can get firsthand access to it by simply plugging your Motorola DROID RAZR to your Lapdock.
This seems to be redemption from the previous Webtop versions. You see, the old Webtop versions seem to be lacking. While Motorola has great goals to integrate their smartphones and lapdock, it seems to work nowhere near the Mac OS. This may seem like they are satisfying no one but Motorola addicts. But with the release of Webtop 3.0, We have high hopes. We have seen that it has taken phone apps to a bigger screen and eliminated Firefox. Though I still cannot get Chrome to work, I do not blame them. After all, it is not called ‘Beta’ for nothing. If Motorola does this well, then we can expect a significant portion of the market shifting to Lapdocks and Motorola phones. We will see.
