After tons of rumors surfaced about Samsung GALAXY S III, at least there’s some not so specific news about the company’s general plans on how to expedite its sales in April. Maeli Business News reported that Samsung’s president in greater China, Kim Young-Ha, said in a conference that they are going to speed up the April launch of their new flagship, apparently, the GALAXY S III.
The rumors that we heard suggest that Samsung Galaxy S III will be released in May. While many are excited about it, these rumors are in direct contrast with what Samsung is really planning for its powerful Galaxy device.
When Samsung previously announced that people won’t be seeing Samsung GALAXY S III during Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2012, we were left to believe the company pushed back the release date so that it can have better competition chances against Apple’s iPhone 5, or maybe the company was merely looking for a perfect date for a seamless global release which is as important.
In Asia and Europe, big companies follow a pattern in releasing their major devices. Others based their releases to months which they have been successful while others follow an annual pattern. In short, timing is vital in releasing these types of devices and that could be what Samsung is trying to achieve.
Rumors and alleged leakages suggested that Samsung GALAXY S III may be seeing a light on May 22nd but it has never been confirmed by the company. While we cannot really be sure or predict what plans Samsung has for its new flagship, it seems the company is trying to let rumors, speculations and hypes grow more every day. And delaying release could be just a tactic to attract a wider reach. But it won’t take long now before we can see this device in action.
